Junior Frontend Developer

With Widgetbook we develop the collaboration platform for frontend development. We bring designers, developers and product owners on one platform and optimize collaboration as review processes. We are seeking a Software Developer, who has an understanding of software development with Flutter. You will be responsible for translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Dart code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help to maintain the code base, build the organization and automize important recurring tasks.

• 1+ year experience with using Flutter and Dart.
• Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of the open-source Flutter ecosystem and commonly used flutter packages like freezed.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery and Git.
• Experience in writing proper widget and integration tests.
• Familiar with a state management pattern like provider or bloc.
• Familiar with clean architecture.
• You're fluent in English (add-on: German)
